Pet Courier Services by Excel Courier: Good News on a Ruff Day

Our courier services were used to deliver pure joy and happiness. Puppies!

Excel Courier acted as the final mile agent for a global logistics company to deliver 17 puppies from Dulles International Airport (IAD). We offer all types of courier services but this was by far the most adorable delivery we've done. The puppies were all delivered safely in their crates equipped with a food and water dispenser. Airport employees were so excited to see the cute puppies. Everyone was very well-behaved. You can even see the Golden Retriever practicing his handwashing skills in this picture. What a good boy!

All the Courier Drivers wanted this particular job

Excel’s veteran driver, Beau, was responsible for delivering three of the puppies, a French bulldog, a Bichon Frise, and a Golden Retriever. As they deplaned the private aircraft, he prepared to clean the outside of their crates and make sure the puppies were comfortable, safe and accounted for.

Edward, Monroe, and Archie were then ready for their short ride in our courier van, one of many in the Excel Courier and Logistics fleet, to their respective owners. Beau once again cleaned and sanitized the cages at each destination. Of course, he took a short break to play with the cute pups! Lucky guy! Then, while wearing his personal protective equipment, he handed the bundles of joy over to their new owners. At a safe distance of course.

"Everyone was so cheerful and happy to get their new puppies. They brought the new owners a lotdog-6-1 of joy and the puppies were so happy to go to their new home”, said Beau who also mentioned that he had the calmest puppies from the plane. Calm puppies made our courier driver happy. It was easy to get them home quickly. Even better - good news for the owners who will now have well-behaved pets!

Everyone seems to have a bit more time at home right now and over the past year. With this influx of time, it seems like the perfect opportunity to bring in a new member of the family. Excel Courier was very honored to have been a part of that.

Excel Courier’s CEO, Chris Marchetti, said “as we all deal with COVID-19, there’s not a lot of good news so we wanted to share something that was fun and brings joy to people.”

This was one of the most fun jobs we have done. If you have any special delivery needs, or any delivery needs at all, contact Excel Courier. We would be honored to help you out too!
